Legacy service — confirm the current provider

This page covers the historical brokerage relationship. USAA mutual funds, ETFs and 529 businesses followed a separate acquisition by Victory Capital; do not treat all former USAA investments as Schwab accounts.

Typical setup

  1. Confirm the employee accounts in scope, the applicable consent requirements and who may act for your firm.
  2. Ask the broker about its monitoring enrollment and delivery options for your chosen compliance platform.
  3. Complete the broker’s required authorization and establish appropriate employer portal access.
  4. Link the authorized accounts and agree how account identifiers will be matched to employees in your platform.
  5. Reconcile the first usable delivery against the expected accounts and data coverage; investigate missing or unmatched records.
  6. Assign ongoing ownership for account additions, departures, failed deliveries and periodic reconciliation.
